Junior Thai Boxing Course

 

Janine Davis a 'Former World Thai boxing Champion'  'British kickboxing champion, and ' Southern area Thai boxing Champion' will be teaching the kids the art of Thai boxing/Mauy Thai in a safe, fun and  positive environment.  Janine will make the session easy to follow ensuring the students will not be overwhelmed with too many techniques. Students will work together or groups, practising their skills and building friendships.

 

SKILLS FOR LIFE

 

It is paramount that the children learn humility and respect. Whilst Thai boxing can be seen as aggressive by nature, learning self-control and discipline will benefit any kids in their life, at home and school.

 

 AWARDS AND PROGRESSION

 

The junior class will build upon skills learned in the sessions. The children will earn their white grade after completing their first 10 week course. Subsequent colours will be dependant on attendance, attitude, effort and ability.

Janine will also run an assistant coaches program for the most proficient, hardworking students to assist their peers in class. This is a powerful source of motivation for the next generation of martial arts coaches.

 

SAFEGUARDING

Janine is fully qualified to train the children and has an enhanced DBS, is full insured and holds a first aid certificate.
