Wimbledon Woodens Winners!

A big thank you to everyone who took part in our Wooden Racquets Tournament on Wimbledon Men's Finals Day. 12 members took part in an American Doubles playing with the likes of the Dunlop Maxply (as used by John McEnroe), Donnay Allwood (Bjorn Borg) and a special pass was granted to Jimmy Connor's Wilson T2000 metal racquet!

 

The eventual winners after four rounds were Annie Smith and Gary Burn (pictured below), who both received a Wimbledon Strawberry Mug. All players enjoyed a Wimbledon lunch aftewards with a glass of Pimms before watching Andy Murray win the Wimbledon title for a second time!
