The West Hants Club welcomes new sponsors DPD Local

 

Local business DPD have signed up as business partners with The West Hants Club and are keen to support the talented Academy youngsters at the Club.

 

The Club’s Business Partnership Scheme was set up to create a working partnership between the West Hants Club and local businesses who wish to support sport in the community, with an emphasis on tennis development.   This support is invaluable and has contributed to the increasing success of our juniors –2016 saw them enjoy unprecedented national success and they ended the year as the winners of three categories at the National School Championships. 

 

DPD Local are part of DPD Group, one of Europe’s leading delivery companies.   A community minded business, they are keen on building long lasting relationships with local businesses aiming to make a positive contribution to the communities they are closest to.   This new relationship with West Hants allows them to offer support to the youngsters the Club is nurturing.

 

Peter Elviss, Chief Executive of The West Hants Club says, “Business Partnerships like those with DPD Local provide financial support to cover coaches fees, provide clothing and equipment and offer scholarships to talented youngsters who may not normally have access to professional coaches and support”

 

Franchisee Simon Hawtrey-Coombs says, “We are looking forward to working with local businesses as we have done for the 15 years. We provide a quality service for existing established clients and are continually looking for new Businesses to enjoy our B2C and B2B offering.”
