Tennis Events for Members 2023

 

Tennis Handicap Tournament

March – May

OPEN AGE GROUP Handicap Event (minimum age: 14)

March 4th – May 6th (Finals Day Saturday 6th May)

 

This will be for:

• Men’s & Women’s Singles
• Men’s & Women’s Doubles
• Mixed Doubles

Players will have handicaps allocated for singles / doubles events. The matches will have play by dates by which time each round must be completed. Players are to arrange their own matches up until the finals which will have set dates & times (players must be available over all published finals weekend).

 

Entry Method: Entry Form & entry fee submitted to Reception

 

Please complete the Handicap Entry form (found on notice boards & available from Reception) by the closing date of 26th February.

Vets Club Championships

Singles & Doubles Events

May - July

 

The 2023 Club Championships will start with the Vets Singles & Doubles events between May 13th – July 27th,28th & 29th (Evening finals on Thursday 27th & Friday 28th July plus afternoon finals Saturday 29th July).

 

The Veteran’s age groups will include:

Men’s Vets Singles 45+                 Men’s Vets Singles 60+

Ladies Vets Singles 40+                Ladies Vets Singles 60+

Men’s Vets Doubles 45+              Men’s Vets Doubles 60+

Ladies Vets Doubles 40+              Ladies Vets Doubles 60+

Mixed Vets Doubles M45+/L40+

 

The matches will have play by dates by which time each round must be completed. Players are to arrange their own matches up until the finals which will have set dates & times (players must be available over all published finals evenings).

This will be for:

 

• Men’s & Women’s Singles
• Men’s & Women’s Doubles
• Mixed Doubles

The matches will have play by dates by which time each round must be completed. Players are to arrange their own matches up until the finals which will have set dates & times (players must be available over all published finals weekend).

West Hants Junior Club Championships

U16 & U10 Junior Club Championships

December dates TBC

 

 Played on the indoor courts (with mini tennis green balls for U10s) these events are for boys and girls who are West Hants members and will be completed in one day.
