The West Hants Club scores an ace by teaming up with two new local sponsors

Keen to support the talented West Hants Academy youngsters, 2020 is off to an exciting start for The West Hants Club with Intelligent Land and Funding Solutions Direct signing up as business partners.

The Club’s Business Partnership Scheme was set up to create a working partnership between the West Hants Club and local businesses who wish to support sport in the community, with an emphasis on tennis development.   This support is invaluable and has contributed to the increasing success of our juniors –2019 saw them enjoy unprecedented success with three juniors playing at Junior Wimbledon and many more representing Great Britain in International Competitions.

With increasing trends towards fitter and healthier lifestyles, the West Hants Club also prides itself on its first-class fitness facilities, its buoyant membership community, and its location nestled in tree lined Talbot Woods offering easy access to Bournemouth and Poole residents alike.

New business partner Simon Trueick of Intelligent Land says, “We are very pleased to become business partners with the West Hants Club, with its long history in the world of tennis as well as its excellent facilities for sport and fitness of the highest quality. The quality ethos of the West Hants Club fits well with our own – namely delivering the very best development and planning advice and strategy to clients of all types, from large housebuilders and developers to individual householders. Our highly experienced team of planners, surveyors and land brokers have been in business now for over 10 years, and we very much look forward to working with the club, its members and local businesses as partners.”

Local business owner Chris Watts of Funding Solutions Direct also wants to offer his support to the youngsters the Club is nurturing.  Chris says, “We are delighted to be working with West Hants and are now looking forward to building this relationship for many years to come. My family has had ties with The West Hants Club for many years now, which has been largely responsible for the development of our sizeable social network since our relocation in Bournemouth over 15 years ago. We see this as a great opportunity to give something back to the club, which does a fantastic job of supporting and developing our younger members, whilst increasing our visibility as a growing local business.”

Peter Elviss, Chief Executive of The West Hants Club says, “Business Partnerships provide valuable financial support to cover coaches fees, provide clothing and equipment and offer scholarships to talented youngsters who may not normally have access to professional coaches and support.”
