The West Hants Club scores an ace by teaming up with three new local business partners

Keen to support the talented West Hants Academy youngsters, 2017 is off to an exciting start for The West Hants Club with Select Resorts Properties, Pure Town Planning, and Westbourne Dental Practice all signing up as business partners.

The Club’s Business Partnership Scheme was set up to create a working partnership between the West Hants Club and local businesses who wish to support sport in the community, with an emphasis on tennis development.   This support is invaluable and has contributed to the increasing success of our juniors –2016 saw them enjoy unprecedented national success and they ended the year as the winners of three categories at the National School Championships

With increasing trends towards fitter and healthier lifestyles, the West Hants Club also prides itself on its first class fitness facilities, its buoyant membership community, and its location nestled in tree lined Talbot Woods offering easy access to Bournemouth and Poole residents alike.

New business partner Michael O’Reilly of Select Resorts Properties says, “We are very excited to further our relationship with Peter and the team at the West Hants Club. For 35 years Select Resorts Ltd have worked with some of the most exclusive sports and recreational resorts across the globe, so it seems only right that we have such a strong relationship with Bournemouth’s most exclusive club. Our property clients expect the best - a trait we share with the West Hants Club.”

Local family dentist Dr Hamid Kolahy is based at Westbourne Dental Practice and wanted to offer his support to the youngsters the Club is nurturing.  Dr Kolahy says, “I am delighted to be associated with a Club that offers great opportunities to young people and helps them achieve their potential.”

Finally, locally based Pure Town Planning completes the trio of new partners.  Priding themselves on clarity, honesty, and value they also give back to the local community by setting aside a proportion of their profit for charitable donations and sponsorships.  Director Matt Annen is a long standing Club member and wanted to offer his support.  He says, “Pure Town Planning is delighted to be supporting The West Hants Club as a business partner.  I first joined the club 25 years ago and have seen it go from strength to strength.”

Peter Elviss, Chief Executive of The West Hants Club says “Business Partnerships provide financial support to cover coaches fees, provide clothing and equipment and offer scholarships to talented youngsters who may not normally have access to professional coaches and support.”
