Some great news for member Simon who won the inaugural British Padel Championship Over-60s, an LTA Grade 1 event!
Unseeded and facing the tournament favourites and number 1 seeds in the very first round, Jon and Simon battled through a 2¼ hour thriller, clinching the win in a nail-biting championship tie-break 10-8!
After that epic opener, they cruised through the rest of the tournament, finishing with a 2-0 victory in the final.
