National Team Tennis Finals - Report

Did you come and watch the LTA's National Team Tennis Finals over the weekend? There was some first-class tennis action and we would like to congratulate winners Sutton (Men's) and Halton (Ladies).

 

 

Our own Ladies Team put in strong, impressive performances and Team Captain Jane says,

 

"So proud of this West Hants team. Found a way to get the win against long term rivals. Edgbaston Priory in a tie break shoot out! Big shout out to Taz for finding a win in the singles and doubles to keep us in it, Annie, nerves of steel in her shooter, Mollie stepping up to play with me in the final breaker! Amelia and Debbie for being great all season. I couldn't be prouder. Joint 5th! Well done, let's go one better next year. #dreamteam"

 

We would also like to thank Tennis Channel International for streaming the matches - it was fantastic to see them on screen!
