LTA Summer County Cup 2025 saw a week of incredible effort and team spirit from our men’s and ladies teams.
In a very closely matched group, the men’s team won their first 3 matches, 5-4 against Northumberland, Oxford and Sussex followed by a loss to eventual Group winners Somerset.
The final day saw the team battling for promotion with Wiltshire and Northumberland, however, events left Northumberland only needing to win 2 of their matches which they did, giving them the promotion with Dorset finishing 4th. The team will stay in Group 6.
The ladies team came up against some tough opposition but never lost their fighting spirit with every match hard fought, missing out on some crucial tie-breaks. With a well earned 5-4 win over Cornwall on the last day, the team finished 6th and will move to Group 6 next year.

54 players from Dorset, Hampshire & IoW and Sussex battled it out at CourtX, Southsea in three age group teams, 12U, 16U and 18U.
Fantastic to see all the players enjoying competitive matches in a fun, supportive team atmosphere.
HUGE congratulations to Dorset for bringing the trophy home!
