Junior news from Nationals in Bolton

Tom and Will competed at the LTA Nationals in Bolton over the weekend.  These Bournemouth Collegaite pupils were amongst 32 competitors and their impressive play saw Will finish in 17th place after winning 4 out of 5 matches, only bowing out to the eventual semi-finalist.   

 

Tom took 14th place, taking all his matches to 3rd set tie-breaks.  Finishing in the top 16 in the country again gives Tom a chance of qualifying for the Grade 1 event - we will share any news once we hear it but in the meantime, congratulations to you both, and coach Debbie, on strong performances in your first Nationals events.
