Eagle eyed members may have spotted our Grounds Team preparing the clay courts for play - a sure sign that Spring is just around the corner!

We are pleased to share even more good news....

Tennis Achievements

Several of our talented juniors featured in the U18 Girls County Team line up and enjoyed wins and a promotion - their second in a row! A huge well done to this Girls Team, led by Captains (and our very own coaches) James White and Catherine Lawson.

In other junior news, RPDC's Daniella is the new U14 British Number 1 and also now the highest ranked U14 girl in Europe!

Congratulations also to familiar Club faces, Boyd and Matt who both took titles at the recent British Indoor Open Masters, held in Wrexham! Boyd and his doubles partner Jasper won the Men's Doubles 70s and Matt defended his Singles 55s title "after a long 3 set final. Next stop Mexico City for the World Masters Tour Team Championships playing for GB in April!"

Finally, we're very proud to announce The 100th Bournemouth Open has been awarded Competition of the Year by Dorset County LTA!  A highlight of our Summer calendar, it's wonderful for tournament organiser Sasha and the wider team to receive this recognition, especially as the event celebrated its centenary last year.

Wi-Fi Upgrade

The structure of our building has made upgrading Wi-Fi a challenge however we are pleased to announce that this has now been completed! Thank you for your patience whilst we rolled this out across all areas of the Club - we hope you enjoy the improved service!

Easter Camps are back - save 10% if you book by Tuesday 19th March!

With games and drills, we will help to keep your children busy during the Easter break and build their on-court skills and confidence. Bookings are now open with a 10% saving if you book by Tuesday 19th March. Click here for more details and booking links. Keep your eyes peeled for a Junior Club session during the holidays too.

Tennis Balls now for sale at Reception

Tennis balls are now available to buy from Reception at all times, so if you're in need and our Club Shop is closed then please stop by the main desk and the team will be happy to help you.

Advance booked a class or court?

For those who advance book classes or courts, if you are unable to attend then please kindly cancel your space, giving as much notice as possible. Our teams make every effort to keep waiting lists down and extend the opportunity for more to attend their activity. Remember, bookings within 24 hours can only be cancelled via Reception.

If you do not attend and do not cancel your place, you will be registered as a "no show". We will email to you and should this occur a second time then your booking rights will be suspended until a £10 penalty is paid - all penalties are donated to our nominated charity, EDAS.

Interested in joining our Board of Trustees?

There is still time to apply to become one of the Club's Trustees, as previously advertised in the February newsletter.
